Description A typically stylish Liberty design toast rack formed as an open rectangular frame with an Arts & Crafts geometric frieze, supported by four bun feet which provides the base to this toast rack on which are set seven plain, rounded wirework bars, the central bar bearing a matching loop as a handle, thus creating six ‘compartments’. Hallmarks The frame carries a maker’s mark of ‘L & Co’ in three lozenges for Liberty & Co.; an Anchor (Birmingham); Lion Passant (sterling); lower case ‘o’ (1913).
